Day 23
Well, Pam left us this morning. This evening we're back to our regular dinner of peanut butter and beer.
This morning we woke to the sound of a pack of coyotes yipping and howling. It was pretty cool. Doug and I broke camp and rode the 15 miles up to the interstate to meet Jim. Pam's plane got off ok, so she, by now, is back in civilization.
Jim, Doug and I all pulled into the prearranged meeting place within minutes of each other. After a quick breakfast it was back on the road.
On the road and through the mountain!
Today's ride will once again cover hundreds of miles of desert. We will be riding all the way from Reno to Wendover Nevada, over 400 miles.
This time we will be traveling on Interstate 80. Now folks, I don't know how many of you have crossed Nevada before, and this is not a dig against Nevada, but there's not a lot here to stop and see.Interstate 80
Hills on interstate 80
More interstate 80
More interstate 80 again...You guessed it....interstate 80
See what I mean.
We're in Wendover
Oh Brother!
